President Bush, what about these words
from the State of the Union Speech?

President Bush said that CIA Director George
Tenet made a mistake by letting those sixteen words from British Intelligence saying that Iraq was buying Uranium
from Africa into his State of the Union Address in January of 2003. After all in an Oct. 7 2002 speech Bush was to make to
Congress, Bush wanted to say, U.S intelligence shows that Iraq was buying Uranium from Niger to develop his Nuclear Weapons
program. George Tenet told him then that the Intelligence was False.
So Bush decided to change a couple of words,
U.S. Intelligence to British Intelligence, and Niger to Africa for his speech.
Well George Tenet did what he was supposed to
do; he took the heat so Bush would not have to.
So lets take a closer look at these 71 words
in his speech. In it Bush also said:
"Our
intelligence officials estimate that Saddam Hussein had the materials to produce as much as 500 tons of sarin, mustard and
VX nerve agent. U.S. intelligence indicates that Saddam Hussein had upwards of 30,000 munitions capable of delivering chemical
agents. We have also discovered through intelligence that Iraq has a growing fleet of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles
that could be used to disperse chemical or biological weapons across broad areas."
So far, not a single UAV
has been found, or drop of CBWs, or any munitions capable of delivering said weapons.
Will George Tenet be apologizing
for these words as well and fall on his sword for President Bush?
Oh, and what about these
26 words from the same speech:
"Evidence
from intelligence sources, secret communications and statements by people now in custody reveal that Saddam Hussein aids and
protects terrorists, including members of Al Qaeda."
Again, not a single bit
of evidence has come to light linking Hussein and Al-Qaeda. In fact it is well known in the Intelligence community, that Osama
Bin Laden, and Saddam Hussein did not like each other.
Where not done yet, here
are a few more words (20) lies to consider from President Bushs state of the Union Speech:
"Our
intelligence sources tell us that he (Saddam) has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear
weapons production."
The IAEA as well as dozens of leading scientists declared
said tubes unsuitable for nuclear weapons production -- months before the war.
So do you think that going to War with Iraq based on lies, was
still the right thing to do? Having over 200 American Soldiers killed, and almost a Thousand injured so far (White House estimates
that we will have American Troops there for five to ten years) and many more to die or get injured. Do the Ends Justify the
Means? After all Saddam Hussein is no longer in power, and Bush did say that
was one of his objectives.
Let me ask another question. Should President Bush be Impeached?
After all former President Bill Clinton was impeached for lying about getting his Dick Bent. Tell me whos Lies where the most
atrocious. You decide.
